Customs Service’ revenues exceeded 737m lei last week

Over 737.7 million lei was collected by the Customs Service into the state budget between November 4 and November 10. Since the beginning of the year, the Customs Service has collected over 32.3 billion lei into the state budget, which represents a 107.6% percent fulfilment of the plan.

Average consumer prices up 0.5% in October

The average consumer prices in October increased by about 0.5% compared to the previous month. The increase was influenced by the about 0.9% rise food prices and the about 0.5% rise in nonfood prices, said the National Bureau of Statistics.

Food products became more expensive in October. Compared to September, the prices of vegetables increased by 3.8%, of chicken eggs by 2%, of milk and dairy products by 1.8%, of vegetable oil by 1%. On the other hand, fruit prices decreased by 0.1%.

"Farmers' Force" demands resignation of Minister Bolea and measures to save agriculture
