Fifteen health professionals, including practitioners, managers of health institutions, professors and family doctors, today were awarded Honorary Diplomas from the Government, in anticipation of the World Health Day on April 7. Prime Minister Pavel Filip expressed his gratitude for the awardees’ professionalism and commitment.
“You have embraced a noble and very responsible profession. You are the ones who watch over the most valuable asset of any nation - health. A healthy nation is also a developed nation”, the prime minister was quoted by a Government press release as saying.
“The Government will further supervise reforms in the health sector to the benefit of people, in areas ranging from public health, to primary health care, to inpatient care, to emergency care”, stated the prime minister, adding that the reform in the primary health care sector will solve the issue of the deficit of family doctors in Moldova.
The Honorary Diploma of the Government is a distinction that is offered by the prime minister to individuals, institutions, organizations, creative groups or military units from Moldova in recognition of their achievements.
