A number of 150 papers were copied at the Baccalaureate exam in the foreign language. According to Deputy Minister of Education Igor Grosu, the 150 students will be able to take the exam again next year, IPN reports.
“Some of the deviations were penalized, while others are being investigated. Regretfully, some of the students ignored our request not to come with mobile phones and other sources of information to the exam,” Igor Grosu said in a press briefing.
According to him, the Baccalaureate exams are a subject for political speculation. “I call on the politicians to focus on the political problems,” said the deputy minister. He asked the media outlets not to publish the answers to the papers as this encourages copying.
More than 28,000 students sat the Baccalaureate exam in the foreign language on June 11.
