3-year-old unattended boy killed in car accident

A 3-year-old Chisinau boy left unattended was lethally struck by a car. Tudor Capatana, Traffic Police PR specialist, told Info-Prim Neo the accident happened Sunday, June 20, in Boscana village, Anenii Noi. The child was playing in the street, without any adults watching him. He ran on the road and got hit by a vehicle. The 39-year-old driver tried to avoid the collision, but failed to do so. He took the victim to the hospital, but the boy didn’t survive. He died after 2 hours. A man and a woman, both aged 19, were hospitalized after their motorcycle was hit by an off-road. The accident took place on Braniste-Falesti road. On Saturday and Sunday, 36 accidents killed 3 persons and injured 31 others, while 46 accidents didn’t cause any victims.
