31-year-old man given life

A man aged 31 from Soroca town was sentenced to life imprisonment for committing seven offenses, including murder, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Prosecutor General's Office. According to prosecutors, the man put 10,000 counterfeit Moldovan lei into circulation and stabbed the owner of a booth from Soroca in the abdomen, stealing his money and property to the value of over 50,000 lei. In a month, the culprit stabbed a man from whom he earlier borrowed money and killed him. In order to hide his crime, he took the body to a wood and buried it there. The same night, the offender broke into the apartment of the victim and stole property worth over 148,000 lei. Shortly afterward, the man illegally crossed the state border to Ukraine over the Nistru River. The police found several grams of marijuana at the man's place.
