The “373” Program is extended to a wider group of beneficiaries. It will also be accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the trade sector (except for those selling alcoholic beverages and tobacco), but also to those operating in the field of maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, IPN reports.
“Besides the subsidization of interest rates, new components are added, related to loan guarantee, which is important for small and medium-sized enterprises. Through these, we will stimulate the growth of investments, the creation of new jobs, will increase the added value and, correspondingly, will have higher salaries for employees,” Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated in Wednesday’s meeting of the Cabinet.
At the same time, the maximum amount that can be granted to one beneficiary was increased from 15 to 40 million lei. It will be permitted to finance the purchase of raw materials and materials necessary for production or provision of services, within the limit of 30% of the value of the investment project.
The maximum guarantee ceiling was increased from 40% to 80% of the loan amount for the offered guarantees (requirement of the Loan Guarantee Fund), while the banking procedures for granting loans were simplified.
Within the “373” Program, over 300 beneficiaries raised 363 loans with a total investment value of 1.46 billion lei.
