59.42% of electors in suburbs voted for Chirtoaca, 30.34% for Dodon

The Central Election Commission says in a communiqué that it received in original all the vote counting reports from the electoral offices of the polling places established in Chisinau municipality, and the final results of the elections are as follows: 166,232 persons or 48.07% of all the electors voted for the PCRM’s candidate Igor Dodon, while 160,827 persons or 46.51% – for the PL’s candidate Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. In Chisinau, Igor Dodon polled 52.15% of the vote, while Dorin Chirtoaca –43.54%. In suburbs, Igor Dodon won 30.34% of the ballot, while Dorin Chirtoaca – 59.42%. The number of ballots declared invalid has not been specified.
