Repair work has begun at Chisinau International Airport on the 350-meter-long and 23-meter-wide "B" type taxiway, IPN reports.
"Over time, cracks and unevenness have formed on certain stretches, which is why constant maintenance and repair is necessary, especially near the summer season, when air traffic intensifies," the aerogogeographical administration said in a post on social networks.
The runway was built in 1987.
