115 million lei will be allocated from the Government's Intervention Fund to liquidate the consequences of this year's torrential rains. The decision was approved today by the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports.
According to the decision, financial means will be allocated to 54 localities that suffered from the torrential rains with strong winds and hail this summer and fall. These are municipalities in the districts of Rezina, Hincesti, Floresti, Telenesti, Ialoveni, Straseni, Cantemir and Leova.
These resources will be used to repair 160 km of damaged public roads, 20 damaged culverts and drains, and to restore the roofs of educational institutions.
The support will also benefit 21 households in Cania commune and Stoianovca village, Cantemir district.
