The consultancy campaign carried out by representatives of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” at local level is in full swing. About 100 consumers got expert advice from the company’s specialists in February alone, IPN reports.
According to the public utility, most of the residents who benefitted from consultancy approved of the initiative to get expert advice on the spot, without needing to go to the company’s head office. These asked that the meetings with consumers should be held weekly and for a longer period of time.
In concert with representatives of the local public administration, there was agreed a schedule of meetings with the consumers from Stauceni, Tohatin and Vadul lui Voda. Thus, the given consumers managed to obtain information about the process of invoicing the water supply and sewerage services, methods of fixing technical problems, etc. Some of the problems can be solved with the direct involvement of the local authorities, such as the construction of water and sewer pipelines on the streets where these are absent.
The representatives of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” informed the consumers from the municipality of Chisinau about the company’s work and about the projects under implementation designed to improve the situation in the water supply and sewerage sector.
Until a 24/24 Consumer Information Center is created to establish continuous communication between the operator and consumers, a schedule of consultancy meetings was set for a number of communities of Chisinau municipality, namely Gratiesti, Budesti, Durlesti, Bubuieci, Ialoveni, Stauceni, Tohatin and Vadul lui Voda.
