Two men from Leova town face criminal punishment for illegally keeping arms and ammunition at home, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry of the Interior, in the house of a man aged 49 the police found a TOZ 8 rifle with gunsight, modified by hand, and 29 5.6 caliber bullets.
The second man aged 63 illegally held a hunter’s gun IJ 18, a TOZ 8 rifle, and 53 bullets of different calibers.
The arms and ammunition are being studied. The police reiterate that the persons who voluntarily yield up the guns held illegally are not held criminally accountable.
