About 2,000 policemen will secure public order on August 22, when German Chancellor Angela Merkel will arrive in Chisinau. The announcement was made by Minister of Interior Dorin Recean, after today’s Government meeting, reports Info-Prim Neo. “We took the security measures appropriate to the level of the visit. Thus, we ensure that the security is in order”, noted the Minister. Dorin Recean added that special measures will be taken, but avoided giving any examples.
