Assistance of 500,000 lei for Japan

The Chisinau City Hall will provide 500,000 lei to Japan to help with the cleanup. A decision to this effect was taken in the March 15 meeting of the commission for managing the reserve fund of Chisinau municipality, the City Hall says in a communiqué, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The money will be transferred to the special accounts opened by the Government of Moldova. The decision was reached following a request made by the mayor of Chisinau, who said that it is not a very large sum, but it is a contribution and represents a gesture of solidarity.
