The Baccalaureate centers and national paper grading centers will be outfitted with metal detectors and equipment for jamming the video cameras and telephone connection for the 2013 session. A provision to this effect is contained in the methodology for organizing and holding exams, which was proposed for public debates, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Ministry of Education already approved the schedule of exams. The Baccalaureate session will take place between June 4 and 21. Exams will be obligatorily taken in the Romanian language and literature, in schools for other language speakers, the language of study, the foreign language and in mathematics for those who study exact sciences and in history for those who study humanities. The candidates will also sit an exam in one subject of their choice, including geography, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, history, or informatics.
Under the mythology proposed by the Ministry for debates, papers for notes will be attached to the personalized tests of the candidates in the next Baccalaureate session. The papers will also be personalized through the candidate’s barcode. The candidates who will get poor grades will be able to sit the exams again not in that session, but next year.
At least 300 students will take exams at every Baccalaureate center. A common Baccalaureate center will be set up in the districts with a lower number of candidates.
The draft methodology for organizing and holding exams was posted on the websites of the Ministry of Education and the Assessment and Examination Agency. Proposals concerning the draft methodology can be submitted by December 24.
The Ministry of Educating also approved the program of final exams in primary schools. They will take place during April 22-30. The secondary school graduation exams will be sat during June 3-13.
