Bakeries borrowed about 4,000 tonnes of wheat from state

The State Agency for Reserves so far has singed contracts for the provision of 3,900 tonnes of wheat of the 15 tonnes that the Government decided to lend to bakeries, Mihail Sterpu, division head at the Agency, stated for Info- Prim Neo. ”Until now, we have signed contracts with the Balti baking complex, SRL Moxval Nicol based in Basarabeasca, SRL Cazacu CO based in Criuleni, the Falesti bakery and other enterprises. Applications come every day and new contracts will be signed,” Mihail Sterpu said. The Government decided to allocate wheat from the state reserve in order to maintain the prices of bread and bakery products. The companies that borrow wheat from the state are to return it from the new harvest by September 1, 2011.
