Balti deputy dean accused of asking bribe

The deputy dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literary of the Balti-based State University is accused of asking 3,000 lei from two first-year students, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The deputy dean asked for money in order to help the girls get rid of tuition fees and be included in the group of students whose studies are financed by the state.
If he is found guilty, the official will be fined 10,000 to 30,000 lei or will get up to three years’ imprisonment.
