The body of a man aged 37 was discovered in a pond in Buiucani district of Chisinau. According to the press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Adrian Jovmir, the body didn’t have signs of violence, but the exact cause of death is yet to be found out, IPN reports.
“On July 23, the man went fishing and didn’t return home. A relative recognized his clothes on the bank of the pond and called the police,” said Adrian Jomir.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service said that 33 persons have drowned so far this year. Six of them are children.
