The building shared by the Centru District Court and the Centru Sector's Head Office in Chisinau was evacuated today after an unidentified man called in a bomb threat to the Court. Eventually the threat proved to be a hoax, Chisinau Police chief Silviu Musuc told IPN.
The call was received at around 5:00pm. A bomb disposal squad checked all the offices but found nothing.
The police are now looking for the hoaxer. When found, he will face a fine of up to 10,000 lei, 180 to 240 hours of community service, or up to 2 years in prison.
