The Border Security Excellence Center, part of the General Inspectorate of Border Police, will be integrated into the "Stefan cel Mare" Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI). A project to this effect has been approved by the Government. According to authorities, this move aims to optimize administrative resources while providing trainees with expanded access to high-quality educational resources, IPN reports.
“Electronic platforms, e-learning tools, digital catalogues, online libraries, and practice ranges meeting the latest international standards will be introduced. The creation of a unified administration will enable efficient resource management, enhance teaching functions, and improve educational quality”, stated the MAI.
The institution assures that, while the "Ștefan cel Mare" Academy already offered training programs for Border Police personnel, tShe integration of the Excellence Center will enhance this offering. The merger aims to deliver more in-depth training and diversified educational resources tailored to current national security requirements. Personnel will benefit from targeted training, directly contributing to strengthening the country’s security system, according to the MAI.
