The contest to fill the post of member of the Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” will be 20 days instead of 15 days, as now. The Broadcasting Coordination Council on July 4 approved amendments and supplements to the regulations concerning the holding of the contest to fill the post of Supervisory Board member, IPN reports.
Under the new provisions, the contest is open to persons who, during the last five years, haven’t failed the professional integrity test.
The changes were made as a result of the modification of the Broadcasting Code.
The Supervisory Board is the administrative body of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova”. It consists of nine members who are chosen by contest and are confirmed to post for a four-year term by Parliament.
