The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) will monitor the news and analytical programs retransmitted by a number of national TV channels. Such a decision was taken in the March 4 meeting of the Council, IPN reports.
BCC chairman Dinu Ciocan said the decision was reached following discussions about the deviations and attempts to encroach on the sovereignty and security of Moldova’s information area.
There will be monitored the programs retransmitted by the TV channels Prime, Ren Moldova, RTR Moldova, TV 7 and Rossia 24, for a period of seven days each.
The monitoring results will be presented and examined in a public meeting.
