A man, 65, died and another one, 73, was injured in a traffic accident on the road Balti-Chisinau, near the village of Lupa-Recea in Straseni district.
A Straseni Police spokesperson told IPN the accident involved a car, driven by a 33-year-old, which violently crashed into the rear of a cart holding the two men.
The injured 73-year-old passenger was rushed to a local hospital. The car’s driver wasn’t hurt.
Criminal proceedings were started to establish all the circumstances.
