The number of cases of flu, acute upper respiratory tract infections and acute respiratory infections recorded on Moldova’s territory passed the epidemic level during the past seven days, IPN reports.
The National Public Health Center said 15 cases of flu, over 12,000 cases of acute upper respiratory tract infections and almost 400 cases of acute respiratory infections were logged during the past week.
A boy aged 17 from Chisinau died because of flu.
To prevent the spread of seasonal flu and respiratory infections, one should see a doctor when the first symptoms of the disease appear. The sick persons should be isolated at home and should wear protection masks. The rooms should be aired and disinfected. It is recommended eating healthily and drinking more liquids.
