Chain accident in Botanica

Three cars were involved in a chain accident in Botanica, today, July 6. According to the preliminary version, the accident took place after one of the vehicles tried to avoid an ambulance.
Traffic Police press officer Aurelia Mija told Info-Prim Neo that the accident occurred at the intersection of Hristo Botev Street and Dacia Avenue. A Mercedes vehicle driving on Dacia Avenue towards the viaduct crossed the center line and collided with two other cars, a BMW and a Peugeot. A child from the BMW required medical care.
Witnesses say that the Mercedes driver tried to avoid an ambulance driving from Trandafirilor Street towards Hristo Botev with the beacon on. The ambulance wasn’t hit.
Maria Samatailo, coordinating doctor of the Emergency Service in the capital, told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance belonged to Emergency Hospital. It transported a child to the hospital and was driving regularly.
