Two cars and a minibus running on route No. 115 were involved in an accident near the Palace of the Republic in Chisinau, at the intersection of the streets Bucuresti and Maria Cibotari. The accident happened close to 12.00.
General Police Commissariat spokesman Adrian Jovmir stated for Info-Prim Neo that the minibus traveled legally, at the green color of the stoplights. In the intersection, it was struck by a Renault car that was turning to the left. The Renault hit slightly another vehicle as well.
The driver of the minibus has told Info-Prim Neo that when the accident happened there were about ten passengers in the minibus. Nobody was hurt. The man said he did not travel at high speed, but did not manage to avoid the collision, which was rather powerful. The minibus is insured.
