Dozens of children and young people from Chisinau community centers will exhibit their works centering on Easter themes in the Parliament’s hall on April 9. The exhibition and sale will be visited by MPs and functionaries of the Parliament’s Secretariat, IPN reports.
According to the legislature’s press service, the exhibition is staged before the Easter holidays in a move to support the orphans. The children who will be present at the exhibit will be able to make a tour of Parliament, accompanied by a guide, to take part in the plenary sitting and to have lunch inside the legislative body’s building.
Speaker Andrian Candu called on the MPs not to forget about the children from orphanages and about the persons from old people’s homes. He donated his salary for a month to the National Center for the Rehabilitation of Invalids and Labor and War Veterans located in Cocieri village of Dubasari district.
The exhibition will be opened at 9am on April 9.
