A six-year-old child who was thought to have died in a road accident on the Chisinau – Balti road in the afternoon of November 8 returned to life on the way to the morgue. Press officer of the National Patrolling Inspectorate Diana Fetco has told IPN that seven grownups and two children were admitted to the Straseni District Hospital as a result of the road accident.
The accident happened at the entrance to Greblesti village of Straseni district. An Opel car driven by a woman was powerfully struck from behind by a Toyota coming from the same direction when it slowed down to turn to a secondary road.
The Toyota was moving at a speed of over 150 km per hour. As a result of the impact, the Opel was projected over 40 meters forward.
UPDATE (18.50) According to the latest information provided by the police, the child aged six died in the hospital.
