The children at the Municipal Hospital “Valentin Ignatenco” received toys and books as Christmas presents. The action was carried out on Wednesday, December 24, by representatives of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” (USMF) to support the little patients and encourage them to get better soon, IPN reports.

We though that reading will help them and they will get better soon and go home and celebrate the New Year's Eve joyously”, said Silvia Ciubrei.
Overall, 400 books have been collected. Som professors, including doctors, donated toys as well, thinking of the youngest children. “Children always rejoice, whether it's a toy, a sweet or a book. When they are hospitalized, we think that any gift with lift their mood because they are suffering and any support is welcome”, explained Ciubrei.
