Chisinau hospitals to receive new radiography and radioscopy equipment

Two hospitals in Chisinau will be provided with new radiography and radioscopy equipment. The Chisinau Health Division head Luminita Suveica said the two devices will arrive at the hospitals in two months, Info-Prim Neo reports. Luminita Suveica said the equipment was purchased for Hospital No. 1 situated in Botanica district and for “Archangel Mikhail” Hospital located in Rascani district. According to the division head, the tender contest to select the buyer of the devices was held on September 7. “The tender contest brought together specialists and the heads of the two hospitals, representatives of the Chisinau City Hall and the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime. Six economic entities took part in the contest. The offers of four of them met the requirements,” said Luminita Suveica. She also said that the contest was won by a Japanese company. After the documents were examined by the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, they were submitted to the Public Procurement Agency. The new equipment costs about 6 million lei.
