Chisinau streets to be closed for traffic on the weekend

A number of streets in Chisinau will be inaccessible to vehicles on Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, while the eleventh President’s Cycling Cup will be taking place, Info-Prim Neo reports. Aurelia Mija, press officer of the Traffic Police Division, said the participants in the competition will move on Hristo Botev St – Dacia Blvd. – Valea Crucii St – Grenoble St and back along the same route. Thus, these streets will be closed for traffic between 9am and 3pm on June 16. The section of Stefan cel Mare blvd. between Pushkin and M. Viteazu streets will be closed between 9am and 3pm on June 17. The Traffic Police call on the participants in the traffic to avoid these streets so as not to cause jams.
