Following faults announced in the authentication process through MPass and in the process of applying electronic signatures, the State Tax Service informs that taxpayers will not be penalized for not honoring their tax obligations following the impossibility of accessing electronic tax services due to technical or other faults, IPN reports.

In this situation, the procedure for examining the tax violation cannot be initiated. In case of initiation, it is to be dropped, the quoted source noted.

The State Tax Service said that the technical team in cooperation with the institutions involved are making all the necessary efforts to fix the experienced problems as soon as possible.

The e-Government Agency confirmed that as of January 15, all platforms that require authentication through MPass and those that use electronic signatures, including when requesting public or private services, have malfunctioned.
