The police found a clandestine casino in Buiucani district of Chisinau. The gaming machines used there hadn’t been registered and checked in accordance with the law, while the amounts collected from clients weren’t reported officially, IPN reports.
The Chisinau Police Division said the administration of the private company could not provide explanations over the identified illegalities. It was established that the company had no functioning authorization and license.
The police seized the gaming machines and registers with notes about the earned amounts of money as well as cash.
The company was closed. The administration will be held accountable for tax evasion and illegal entrepreneurial activity. The gaming machines will be examined to establish the damage caused to the state budget.
