During three months, citizens from six regions of the country could assess the quality of the public services provided by the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS). This will be possible through a pilot instrument for assessing the public services that was designed by experts of the Moldova Social Innovation Hub (MiLab) and a number of IT specialists, IPN reports.

The people will be able to assess the quality of the services provided by the CNAS, namely the accessibility of the received information, amiability of the personnel and service conditions. As of March 15, this could be done in eight local offices in Chisinau (Botanica, Buiucani and Rascani districts), Ialoveni, Floresti, Balti, Cahul, and Comrat. The data collected by the CNAS and the measures taken as a result will be posted on LED screens placed inside pilot offices.

Head of the CNAS Analysis and Strategic Planning Division Natalia Smundeac said this exercise will enable to objectively assess the performance of the company’s personnel. There will be collected suggestions for improving the quality of infrastructure and for simplifying the procedure for collecting and submitting documents.

The activity is coordinated by the Moldova Social Innovation Hub (MiLab), which is a common project of UNDP Moldova and the State Chancellery, in partnership with the CNAS and the Government of the Republic of Moldova. The initiative is supported by the Government of Slovakia.
