A collection of NFTs, non-fungible tokens, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the "Bridge of Flowers" across the Prut will be launched at the end of this year. The announcement was made today at an event organized in Bucharest by ICI Bucharest, which was attended by Moldovan Ambassador Victor Chirila, IPN reports.
The collection will include archival documents, audio and video testimonies, unpublished photographs, which will be transformed into NFTs, designed to keep alive the memory of this gesture of brotherhood.
"On May 6, 1990, 1.2 million Romanians crossed the symbolic border between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, without passports, only with flowers, songs and tears," noted Ciprian Iacob, ICI D|SERVICES.
The announcement was made in the context of the event on digital innovation and emerging technologies in Romania "Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest", organized by the National Institute for Research-Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest.
