Condition of persons hurt in bus accident this morning still critical

The condition of some of the persons who were injured when a bus overturned into a ditch near Zaicana village, Criuleni this morning remains critical. According to the latest information, 37 persons were admitted to the Emergency Hospital in Chisinau. Mihai Codreanu, division head at the Emergency Hospital, has told Info-Prim Neo that many of those patients have been operated and they are still in a serious condition. Some of the persons suffered minor injuries, but nobody has been discharged yet. The bus that overturned on the Dubasari-Chisinau road was taking about 50 workers from three villages to Chisinau. A woman died on the way to the hospital as a result of her injuries. Most of those injured sustained cranial-cerebral traumas and arm and leg fractures. Those hurt were taken to the hospital mainly by cars passing by. A part of the victims were admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital in Chisinau. A pregnant woman was transferred from the Emergency Hospital to the Mother and Child Center.
