Contest to select managers for four Chisinau medical institutions

The Ministry of Health has announced a contest to fill the vacant posts of director in four medical and sanitary institutions in Chisinau. The deadline for applications is February 28, Info-Prim Neo reports. Nicolae Jelamschi, head of the Medical Staff Management Policies Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the four institutions include the Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 4, the Municipal Children’s Hospital of Infectious Diseases, the Municipal Children’s Stomatology Center, and the Rascani Local Medical Association. The contest is open to Moldovans with higher education in the given area without a criminal record and with a length of service in healthcare of at least seven years. The candidates must have at least five more years before retirement. Asked when the contest to select a candidate for the post of director of the National Hospital will take place, as ex-director Andrei Usatyi was named Minister of Health, Nicolae Jelamschi said a date has not been yet set. Until a contest is organized, deputy director Sergiu Popa will hold the post on an interim basis.
