In addition to being time-saving, submitting corporate income tax returns electronically has become cheaper, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Fiscservinform, the Fiscal Inspectorate's information service, has started accepting such submissions on March 21. Anton Sirbu, department head at Fiscservinform said the new prices of the digital signatures, which are required for such procedures, dropped from 2500 lei to 1504 lei, for signatures for fiscal authentication only, and from 2800 lei to 2040 lei, for multipurpose signatures. VAT-exempted entities can buy signatures for 1059 lei and 1550 lei, respectively.
Digital signatures enable corporate entities to submit up to 30 (for VAT-exempted entities) or 55 fiscal declarations and reports.
“For individual enterprises, which submit returns only once a year, we have proposed much lower rates, of 190 lei and 590 lei, respectively. But this proposal is yet to be considered by the Fiscal Inspectorate and the results will be announced shortly”, said Anton Sirbu.
Individuals may request a five-year valid digital signature from Fiscservinform free of charge, by scheduling an appointment at www.servicii.fisc.md
Sirbu said that the number of taxpayers that use digital signatures for filing their tax returns has been constantly rising.
To improve provision of electronic services, Fiscservinform has been enjoying support under the USAID/BIZTAR Project.
