Last weekend, Premier League TV – a channel dedicated exclusively to the English Football Championship – was included in the main package for subscribers to StarNet’s IPTV services, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting Irina Ghelbur, of the company’s PR Service. The clients of StarNet Television can watch the matches live every weekend (by two games on Saturday and Sunday), daily game analysis programs involving English football stars, retrospective programs on matches from the previous rounds and retransmissions of the classical games from the achieve of the English Championships. All the matches broadcast live are in High-Definition format, while the archive ones – in Standard-Definition format. “We aimed to ensure StarNet Television clients’ access to well-liked and high-quality channels from all over the world. The new channel - Premier League TV – transmits the most popular football championship. The encounters between famous teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City can be watched in Moldova in HD format for the first time. The programs and matches are not translated so that the British atmosphere and specific features are preserved. Also, the games are described by the best English commentators,” said Sergiu Ipatii, IPTV StarNet manager. Currently, the subscribers to IPTV can watch 74 SD channels and 10 HD channels available within the StarNet Television packages.
