The price of a liter of diesel fuel rises slightly above 22 lei, while the price of gasoline COR 95 increases to almost 26 lei a liter, IPN reports.
The prices were set by the National Agency for Energy Regulation for the next three days, April 6-8 inclusive. Thus, the pump price of diesel fuel will be at most 22.01 lei liter, while a liter of gasoline COR 95 will cost a maximum of 25.98 lei.
Earlier, the Agency explained that the rise in fuel prices is due to the increases on the international market. “The recent price rises occur against the background of the increase in Platts fuel quotations, which in the recent days alone saw a jump of 9.6% for gasoline and of 3% for diesel fuel. Simultaneously, crude oil exceeded the threshold of $87/barrel, rising to the highest level since October 2023,” the institution said two weeks ago.
