The Government gave the go ahead for the creation of the Agency for Digitalization in Justice and Judicial Administration by merging the Agency for Court Administration and the Legal Information Resources Agency, IPN reports.
Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru said that the establishment of the agency is essential for the digitization of judicial processes and advancement in the development of the concept of e-justice, centered on the needs of citizens. At the same time, the agency will focus on improving the performance of the courts and reducing the duration of trials.
Thus, by implementing digital solutions, the agency will facilitate access to justice, reduce bureaucracy, create a more transparent and efficient environment and facilitate citizens' access to legal and procedural information.
