Director of Food Safety Agency appointed

The Government named Gheorghe Gaberi as director of the Food Safety Agency. Caberi worked at the Ministry of Economy, being responsible for the attraction of foreign investments. He formed part of Moldova’s delegation to the talks with the World Health Organization and has work experience in business, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Minister of Agriculture Vasile Bumacov, Gheorghe Gaberi has the abilities and qualities needed to hold this post. The Food Safety Agency that was recently created will monitor the food products, both the exported ones and those sold on the home market, so that they meet the European inoffensiveness standards.
