Driver without license kills bicyclist in hit-and-run

A man riding a bicycle was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Crihana Veche village, Cahul district. The police identified and arrested the perpetrator shortly. This is a 28-year-old man who doesn't hold a driver's license. According to the police, the 63-year-old victim was riding his bicycle along the side of the road when he was violently struck by a BMW driven by a man from the same village. As a result of the impact, the bicyclist died on the spot.
