Economic agents implementing dual education programs will have easier access to subsidies for student training. The compensation rate for the costs of vocational training remuneration for students in dual education has been increased from 30% to 100%. A government decision in this regard has been approved, IPN reports.
The government aims to enhance the attractiveness of dual education for both students and economic agents.
"Dual education, with proper investments, leads to increased productivity, which means higher salaries for people and greater profits for entrepreneurs," stated Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, approximately 2,400 students are enrolled in dual education programs across 40 technical vocational education institutions in partnership with around 170 economic units.
This year, the subsidy fund available to companies has been increased from 10 to 15 million lei.
