The energy company Energocom announced that in recent days it has returned 1 billion lei into the state budget in two tranches, following the reduction of its share capital, IPN reports.
Energocom noted that, in this way, it honored its obligations under the State Budget Law for 2024 and that the company will organize the procedure for the acquisition of 1,300,000 own shares.
The first tranche of 300 million lei was transferred in June this year.
The company reminded that a year ago, on December 1, 2023, SA Energocom paid back 1 billion lei into the state budget from public financial means injected during 2022 for purchasing natural gas.
