The bands that will perform at the first Ethno-Balkanic festival in Moldova, on August 16-17, at the Vatra Ethno-Cultural Complex, have began the rehearsals. The public has access from 11 AM.

Lilia Duca, organizer of the festival, told IPN that all the invited bands from Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and Moldova have already arrived. The first to take the stage is the ethno-folklorical ensemble “Dor Basarabean” from Ismail, Ukraine.

A parade of ethnic minorities will begin at 12 AM, followed by the bands' concerts on the large and the small stages.

The Saturday program ends at 9 PM with an Argatu show, which combines folklore with modern music genres, followed by an open air DJ disco, a film screening and campfires.

Festival tickets cost 50 lei for one day and 80 lei for both days.
