“Faces of Friends” Festival format revised

The 13th edition of the “Faces of Friends” Festival will take place between August 18 and 19 in Cahul. The organizers said that this year’s festival format has been changed, and there will be no contest element to the event, reports Info-Prim Neo. During a press conference, festival director Serghei Orlov stated that their stage will host 20 artists and bands, among which the Romanian band “Vunk”. The current edition will also include artists from the electro genre, such as the “Travka” band from Romania. “SunStroke Project” and Olya Tira will also go on stage, as well as the new project, which is increasingly stirring the curiosity of music lovers, the “Galileo” band. Among the festival’s invitees are Boris Covali, “Paralele 47” band, Anna Gulko & X, DJ Andrew Rayel, and others. Serghei Orlov mentioned that the festival, since its first edition, served as a launching pad for the youth, who get the possibility to debut in front of a large audience. A tradition of the festival is to go into a pine tree forest, where the party continues with beautiful music and tasty treats for the invitees. The concert itself will take place on the Independence Square in Cahul, on Saturday, August 18, at 5pm.
