The Filip Government has marked six months of activity. According to the Premier, effort has been made in the period to regain the people’s confidence, IPN reports.

Among the achievements, Pavel Filip mentioned the review of the roadmap concerning the European integration of Moldova, elimination of the overdue measures in the implementation process and the positive results achieved in the negotiations with the IMF, which will enable the IMF Executive Board to approve a new cooperation program with Moldova in autumn.

“Results were also achieved in ensuring stability in the banking sector even if a lot of work is yet to be done and this fact was discussed with the IMF mission,” stated the Premier.

Pavel Filip noted that the average pension in the country rose by 7% following the April 1 indexation. The State Tax Service and the Veterinary Service so far this year have transferred to the budget by 1.4 million lei more than in the corresponding period last year. The industrial output increased by 1%, while production volume in the processing industry grew by 3.3%.

The Prime Minister thanked his team and voiced hope that they will work even better and foreign donors’ funds intended for Moldova will never be blocked again.
