The referendum is a solution for peacefully settling the conflicts between politicians. We cannot witness a new political confrontation that can have serious consequences and can bring us close to an abyss, considers the chairman of the public association “Moldova mea” Fiodor Ghelici.
In a news conference at IPN, Fiodor Ghelici said the Democratic Party and the Party of Socialists took an active part and supported Igor Dodon in the campaign prior to the presidential elections and his expectation was that Vlad Plahotniuc, Adrian Candu, Pavel Filip and Igor Dodon would sit at the negotiating table and would solve the problems faced by the people. “These four politicians must find optimal solutions for the people’s welfare,” stated Ghelici.
“If President Igor Nikolayevich asks for more powers, believe me 150%, 200% the people will give him these powers”.
The activist also said that the association he heads receives hundreds of complaints whereby the people inform that they are wronged by police employees or prosecutors. These complaints will be redirected from today to Vlad Plahotniuc because he is the one who manages Moldova de facto and de jure. The responsibility for what is going on in Moldova is borne by Vlad Plahotniuc also because the Head of State, given his powers, has to drive a vehicle without an engine and steering wheel.
Fiodor Ghelici called on Vlad Plahotniuc to clean the PDM of discredited people as many offenders and those with criminal cases hide behind Plahotniuc’s shield.
The activist noted that the people do not feel safe in Moldova and those who go to the police will not be protected by the law if their request does not smell of euros or dollars.
“Moldova mea” carries out activities to fight corruption and establish the rule of law and charity activities, said Fiodor Ghelici.
