The preliminary cause of the fire that occurred in a shopping center in downtown Chisinau is a short circuit, the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service has said, quoted by IPN.
According to the Service, the flames covered the electrical panel of the administrative block on the fourth floor and the smoke rose up to the building’s eleventh floor.
The Service also said that no objects inside the building were damaged. When the fire broke out, the automated fire alarm started and the fire was extinguished.
