Five educational institutions within the Model School Network have received a donation of interactive whiteboards from a private company. The total value of the investment is 1 million lei. School managers stated that the new digital equipment would positively impact the educational process, equipping students with the skills needed to succeed in future careers, IPN reports.

The interactive whiteboard systems were provided to the "Stefan Voda" Theoretical High School in Stefan Voda, "Alexei Mateevici" Theoretical High School in Soldanesti, "Mihai Eminescu" Gymnasium in Telenesti, "Vasile Coroban" Theoretical High School in Glodeni, and "Ion Pelivan" Theoretical High School in Razeni, Ialoveni district.

Elena Cornitel, the director of "Ștefan Vodă" Theoretical High School, described the equipment as a significant step towards modern education. "We are honored to be part of the Model School Network and to benefit from this generous donation", said Elena Cornitel.

Liliana Leuca, the director of "Vasile Coroban" Theoretical High School in Glodeni, emphasized that this donation would completely transform teaching methods. "The interactive whiteboards will allow us to engage students in interactive activities, develop their creativity, and provide access to digital resources we previously only dreamed of," noted the school manager.

The Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, highlighted the importance of partnerships between the public and private sectors in developing education in Moldova. "If everyone contributes to the transformation of education, it will happen faster and better meet society's expectations as a whole", said the minister.

"We actively support the authorities' efforts to promote digital education and develop young people's digital skills. We are pleased to contribute to the modernization of education in Moldova by providing our cutting-edge technologies and supporting future generations," stated Guo Min, the executive director of the donor company.

The Model School Network is a project launched by the Ministry of Education and Research in 2024. The 35 schools included in the network aim to become models of best practices in education, benefiting from investments in infrastructure and innovative teaching methodologies, according to the ministry.
